Welcome to my little blog!
The purpose of this blog is to showcase items I have sewn or crafted.  Hopefully, they will inspire you to create your own projects.

I can't count the number of times I have been inspired by all the amazing crafts I've seen on other blogs.  Many of the items I have made have come from tutorials and patterns I've found online (links to tutorials and patterns are noted in their respective posts).
If there is enough interest, I may eventually open up an Etsy shop and sell some of my items (the ones created from my own patterns/ideas).  

 About Me

I'm a farm girl at heart.  I was raised on a farm, surrounded by open air and land.  Though I currently reside in a city and enjoy its amenities, my desire is to be back in the country.

I am married to a wonderful man who is attending Seminary (Yes, I will be a pastor's wife).  We had our first baby boy (referred to in this blog as Mistah J) in November of 2011.  He is our pride and joy and continues to amaze us every day.

I enjoy sewing and cross stitching.  I wouldn't say I have the greatest sewing skills, but they help me complete the little projects I like to do.  I hope to eventually hone my skills enough to attempt making costumes.  I would love to make some Renaissance type costumes for myself and my husband (and baby) and finally go to a Renfaire!
I also enjoy reading, organizing, and finding ways to live frugally.
